Manna - Autumn 2006
As usual, both scholastic and contemporary commentary from the situation in the Middle East, to Jerusalem, to poetic essays. The depressing situation in Israel is highlighted in R. Bayfields editorial. A very forthright and interesting series of E-mails from Israel to London and back again during the recent war. This is not one of the happiest of the Manna issues but it will give you a good insight into what is going on there. Oye Vey! If it wasn't for R. Willy Wolff's Last Word, I would have slit my throat. There is always hope despite the darkness. -
