Diamond Jubilee 1947-2007: 60 Years of Bournemouth Reform Synagogue
Lovely booklet/pamphlet put together by many members of the synagogue retelling in pictures and in text, the past sixty years at the shul. Starting with meagre surroundings and a small congregation, it rose from a small out-post shul into a major force in British Reform Jewry, thanks to the dynamic leadership, enthusiastic and hard working congregation, and a dedicated rabbinical team. It shows you that a larger synagogue can be a place of warmth, care, and friendliness when the effort is made. -
